Industrial Cables (I) Limited, an ISO-9001:2000 Company, is one of the leading Power Cable manufactures in India, was established in 1956 for manufacture of Power and Control cables. Spread over an area of approx. 50acres, the works of the company is situated at Rajpura (Punajb) about 45 Kms. South-West of Chandigarh and is well connected through Rail and Road. The registered office of the company is at Chandigarh with branch office situated at the various State capitals for better customer care.

The company is a Public Limited company being run by proffessionals, having extensive experience in their respective field, under supervision & guidance of Board of Directors.  Currently the company has a total man-power of about 400. Over the years ICL has supplied products to diverse domestic and overseas customers and has won their appreciation for quality.  The Company currently has accreditation of ISO:9001 by Raad Voor Accredetatie, Netherlands.

The company operations began with maufacturing of PILC cables in 1962, in collaboration with Hackbridge Cables Co. UK. Subsequently, it added PVC insulated Cables in 1965, XLPE Insulated Power Cables in 1979 in collaboration with Kabel Mettal, West Germany and Elastomeric Cables in 1992 to its product range.

Switched over to Dry cure technology for XPLE Insulated Power Cable manufacturing upto and including 132 KV in 1995.
